Refund & Returns / Exchange Policy • You must return items within 10 working days from delivery for a claim. • Proof of purchase is required (invoice, receipt). • Goods must be unopened, in original packaging, and include all accessories/manuals/free gifts. • Some items are not returnable once opened or used: e.g., laptops, tablets, appliances, mattresses, assembled furniture. • For damaged items on delivery, you need to report them within 10 working days. If eligible, refunds go back via the same payment method, but for credit cards it may take up to 14 working days to reflect. • Cancellation due to “change of mind” (i.e., you just no longer want the item) is not accepted for online orders if the item is correct and not defective. Consumer Guarantees • Harvey Norman recognizes the legal consumer guarantees under the Malaysian Consumer Protection Act 1999. • Under that act, customers may be entitled to a replacement or refund for a “major failure,” or repair or replacement if the product is not of acceptable quality. • These guarantees are in addition to any extended warranty (“voluntary warranty”) that you purchase. Shop With Confidence Policy • You can exchange items within 14 days under this policy, as long as the product is new, in original packaging, and with all parts / gifts / receipt. • You can reserve an item for 7 days by placing a minimum deposit. Online Sales / Order Terms • Under their “Conditions of Online Sale,” you have a right to cancel within 10 business days from receiving the goods, provided the items are in perfect, “as new” condition and unopened. • However, for many categories (like appliances, used / installed items), they don’t accept return just for a change of mind unless other conditions are met. • For faulty or non-acceptable goods online: you may request repair, replacement, or refund via their refund & exchange policy. Delivery Policy • Delivery fees depend on weight, item type, and zone. • Delivery does not include installation or third-party fees. • Delivery on Fridays and public holidays is not available. • If you return an item, the delivery fee is not refunded.
